I can’t speak for all camgirls, but I can give you a peek into my day-to-day life as one. I’m up at 6am to get my daughter ready for school and out the door by 7:30. I drop her off, then I come home and get myself ready for my day. I’m usually in front of my computer by 9am, and I’ll start my first show around 9:30. I’ll do a few shows throughout the day, with breaks in between to take care of things like laundry, dishes, and other random household tasks. I typically wrap up my day by 11pm, but sometimes I’ll do a late show if I have a regular viewer who wants to chat.
In between all of that, I’m also chatting with my viewers in my chatroom, tweeting, Tumblr-ing, and basically doing anything else I can to promote myself and my brand. I’ve found that the more I engage with my viewers, the more successful I am. I treat my camming like a job, because it is my job. I take it seriously, and I put in the hours to make sure I’m successful.
